ABOUT

Forageway started with a late night question about milk thistle. I wanted to know how one plant could benefit the body, and one search led to many. Before I knew it I was reading about mugwort and red clover, fungi and dozens of other species. I built this site to keep track of what I was learning.

Every page on this site comes from that same curiosity. I read scientific studies, stroll through parks, and take notes on what I learn. Sometimes I write about history, other times about chemistry or ecology. Each entry is a small record of what I learned—part research, part reflection.


I’m still adding to Forageway as I learn. My hope is it helps others to see what I did: that the world around us is full of living stories, just waiting to be noticed.
