Explore the Living Stories of Plants and Fungi

Forageway started with curiosity. I wanted a place for me to make sense of what I was learning about plants and fungi. How they grow, how people have used them, and how they shape the world around us. One question always led to another, and the site grew from that  search.

Each section comes from a different place, places that are significant to me: the plants along the High Line, the native species of California, and the fungi that tie ecosystems together. Together they form a record of what I’ve learned and what I’m still learning. You’re welcome to explore with me.
